Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 - Nintendo Wii - DE

Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 is an FPS-style hunting game in which the player takes part in a hunting tournament held across various locations around the world. The game can be played with a standard controller or with the Cabela's Top Shot Elite peripheral device. When played with a controller, it functions similarly to a modern first-person shooter. The story revolves around a hunting tournament in which the player is one of the participants. In each level there are three hunts featuring a variety of animals and challenges, as well as bonus challenges. A hunt might involve bagging a red deer, but the bonus might involve shooting it in the heart. Within each stage there is plenty of dialogue between tournament participants, which conveys most of the story. The hunts take place in locations around the world, including Montana and Nigeria, and there are three levels for each location. In addition to Story Mode, there are a number of shooting ranges called Arcade, Reflex and Target. Arcade is simply about achieving the highest score, Reflex requires hunting animals in a specific order, and Target involves simple shooting ranges with wooden "pop-up" animals and clay pigeons that must be shot down.
