Bessy #557 is a classic Wild West comic from the Bastei publishing house, from the 1970s. The comic book is in good used condition.
Bessy ran regularly from 1965 to 1985 at the Bastei publishing house and reached a proud 992 issues. In the 1960s and 1970s, it was the Wild West comic on the German market and held the same status as Mickey Mouse among the funnies (funny animal comics). Most of the cover art was painted by Klaus Dill, giving the series a consistent, dynamic style with strong recognisability. The heroes of the comic series are the cowboy Andy Cayoon and his collie Bessy.
