Bessy #540 is a classic Western comic from Bastei Verlag from the 1970s. The issue is in good used condition.
Bessy was published regularly by Bastei Verlag from 1965 to 1985 and reached an impressive 992 issues. In the 1960s and 1970s it was the Western comic on the German market, holding the same status as Mickey Mouse did among the funnies (funny animal comics). Most of the cover artwork was painted by Klaus Dill, giving the series a consistent, dynamic style with strong recognisability. The heroes of the comic series are cowboy Andy Cayoon and his collie Bessy.
